Dear Friends and Family of the Earthchild Project

We hope you are all well and enjoying the spirit and excitement of the world cup.

There has been an extra long school holiday and so the Grade 1, 2 and 3 learners from Sakumlandela were especially enthusiastic to join our holiday programme.  Together with a team of amazing volunteers and a group of Grade 7 girls who helped translate and facilitate, the little ones were kept busy with yoga, drama, gardening and arts & crafts.  Snacks and yummy lunches were prepared each day by three lovely Grade 12 ladies who attend the High School next door.  On Friday we ended with an epic soccer tournament and a visit from the holiday programme's generous sponsor, Ilan Kaplan of Arbitrage.  Our Earthchild Heroes for the month are Ilan, Tammy, Mandy, all the volunteers and the Grade 7 and 12 ladies for helping to make the programme such a success - THANK YOU!
